I was in Anchorage during November 30th 7.0 earthquake !

I hope people are faring well despite the aftershocks and the drop in temperature.
We are heading to winter solstice and the returning journey of of the sun December 21!

About Me

Mandy: I love teaching the art of "seeing" and techniques for creating art. The main media I work with is ink, pencil, watercolor, gouache, gold leaf, and oils. The main surfaces I use are illustration board, canvas, handmade paper, and wood. I graduated from the University of Hartford in the Hartford Art School with an MFA. My undergraduate studies were at the University of Alaska Anchorage and I also earned a Phi Kappa Phi National Fellowship in Art in 1997.
